Glass
Common glass choices
Thickness and exact specification depend on panel size and use. This table is a planning guide, not a structural certificate.
| Type | Where it is used | Privacy | Safety notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clear | Most windows and doors | Low | Standard view; often toughened when large |
| Tinted | Sun-facing facades, shopfronts | Low–medium | Reduces glare; colour varies by tint |
| Frosted / obscure | Bathrooms, some office bands | High | Light in, view out blocked |
| Toughened | Doors, large panels, shower glass | Depends on clear/frost | Breaks into small pieces; preferred for impact risk |
| Laminated | Shopfronts, overhead, security-sensitive | Depends on interlayer | Holds together if cracked; heavier |

Handles, locks and rollers are specified with the system. Ask for multi-point locking on entry doors and heavy-duty rollers on wide sliders.
